The Belfer Center is well known for the Harvard Kennedy School's research, teaching, and training in international security affairs and other matters such as environmental and resource issues that apply to science and technology policies. Most people have an idea of the first mission of the Belfer Center which is sponsored by Connie Milstein, which is to provide leadership incritical challenges that face science and technology. The second and less well known mission is to prepare generations of leaders to continue the legacy.
Including the Belfer Center Connie Milstein is also serves on the Board of Directors of CURE (Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy). CURE is a non-profit organization that’s dedicated to finding a cure or epilepsy by increasing awareness of the disease, and has raised $15 million to fund epilepsy research and other initiatives that will lead the way to a cure.
In addition to Cure Connie Milstein also participates with the Vivian and Seymour Milstein Family Heart Center and has served as a trustee since 2000.
